The Caroline Ball Family Fund is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organizations with the primary goal of enriching the lives of individuals and families affected by Down Syndrome. Established in January 2008, and now partnered with Sweet Carolina Gourmet, the foundation benefits areas of research in Down Syndrome at Duke University Medical Center, raises awareness in our community for individuals with Down Syndrome, provides financial scholarships to special education teachers, and has a long-term goal of providing housing for adults with Down Syndrome. The Caroline Ball Family Fund, in a collaborative effort with the Triangle Down Syndrome Network, is working to build a facility where individuals with Down Syndrome can live, learn and grow.
